Buckingham Properties is Rochester, New York’s largest and most diverse real estate development and property management company, owning and self-managing more than 60 properties comprising over ten million square feet.

Company history

Founded in 1970 by Larry Glazer, Buckingham has a successful history of re-development and adaptive re-use of existing properties. In addition to our vast Rochester portfolio, Buckingham has ownership in more than 300 acres of development property in Central Florida.

Company History

Larry Glazer and Harold Samloff began an informal partnership in 1970 purchasing several 5-unit apartments on Buckingham Street and other properties in the Park Avenue area. Oxford Square was created (35 stores and 100 apartments). Today, Buckingham Properties has over 40 years of experience acquiring meaningful existing properties for adaptive re-use as modern facilities, as well as new construction.

Buckingham Properties continues to acquire meaningful properties for adaptive re-use, while also acquiring and developing land for new build projects.
